Dongho Beach is located in Dongho-ri, Haeri-myeon.
The beach is adorned with centuries-old pine forests, and its 4km white sandy beach has fine sand and a gentle slope. The seawater at Dongho Beach has high salinity, making it famous for its mud baths, which are beneficial for skin diseases and neuralgia patients. Furthermore, the nearby Hwae Park is beautiful, and the long stretch of white sandy beach is the pride of Dongho Beach.
The breathtaking sunset over the West Sea, viewed from the forest, is especially enchanting. The expansive sandy beach, stretching over 4km, with its fine sand and gentle slope, attracts many visitors during the summer season.

With a depth of 0.5 to 1.5 meters, even children can enjoy playing in the water without worry. The shade provided by the beautiful rows of pine trees behind the white sandy beach creates a cool breeze, making it a popular resting place for families during the summer. The seawater has high salinity, making it famous for sea bathing and mud baths for skin disease and neuralgia patients. Due to the high salinity, a large-scale salt farm has been developed in the vicinity.
On the hill above the pine forest, there is Dangjib, the only Haesindang (Sea God) shrine in Gochang, where fishermen hold annual rituals to pray for a good catch.
The beach is open during the summer season each year.
